About the University of Calgary
Established in 1966 after being a branch of the University of Alberta of almost 20 years, the University of Calgary has become known as a top research university and has gained notoriety over the years for the invention of the neurochip as well as producing top level graduates, including Prime Minister Stephan Harper.
