Regent College

Regent College was established in 1968 and is located next to the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Regent College is an international graduate school of Christian studies, and is not affiliated with any religious denomination. It is the first graduate school of theology in North America to make the Christian education of the general population its central focus.

The College offers four main graduate-level programs, including a Graduate Diploma in Christian Studies, Master of Arts in Theological Studies, Master of Divinity, and Master of Theology.

Regent College is home to students from over 40 countries and 30 Christian denominations. Its diverse student body contributes a variety of different perspectives, experiences, and cultural understandings to the campus environment. This diversity allows students to grow socially and academically through their faith, which creates graduates who are transformed both spiritually and intellectually.

The College’s global mission is to “cultivate an intelligent, vigorous, and joyful commitment to Jesus Christ, His Church, and His world.” Regent College aims to achieve this global mission by passing on the living faith between generations of students in order to prepare graduates to engage with their culture as thoughtful Christians and intelligent citizens.

Campus Life

Students at Regent College can attend weekly faith-based community gatherings, as well as participate in a variety of student life activities and services, including book sales, parties, and retreats.

Regent College believes strongly in the importance of the arts, and is home to the Lookout Gallery, which features works from both local and international artists. The Art around Campus initiative features artwork in a variety of mediums, aimed at inspiring reflection and interaction.

Regent College is located next to the University of British Columbia. Students have access to all the services and benefits provided by the University of British Columbia, including clubs, intramural sports, and support services. The University features a sprawling campus that is home to botanical gardens, athletic fields, coffee shops, pubs, museums, galleries, and theatres.

The University of British Columbia and Regent College are surrounded by ocean beaches and lush rainforests, and the city of Vancouver is consistently ranked as one of the world’s most livable cities.
