Kwantlen Polytechnic University

Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU or Kwantlen) is an undergraduate polytechnic university in British Columbia. Kwantlen consists of four campuses all located in the South Fraser region of B.C, including the Surrey, Richmond, Langley and Cloverdale campuses. As a polytechnic institute Kwantlen is an innovative university dedicated to providing excellent teaching, research and innovation with the goal of improving the world.

Established in 1981 by the government of British Columbia, Kwantlen today has one of the largest numbers of student enrollment in the province. Kwantlen Polytechnic University offers diverse programming in over 200 programs leading to bachelor’s degrees, associate degrees, diplomas, certificates and citations. KPE even provides the option to bridge certificate and diploma credentials into bachelor’s degrees. Students have access to a variety of sophisticated labs, including one of the only two nursing labs in the province, which offers high-tech equipment and simulation environments. The campus offers a gymnasium and an excellent fitness facility, and is home to the athletics department.  There are opportunities for sport through the schools six varsity teams as well as recreational activities, clubs, and on campus events.  Students have access to a library, computer labs, and Internet. The student association offers a variety of benefits to students including discounted tickets for the theater, Whistler, PNE, and more.
