Established in 1970, Douglas College is a major public college located in British Columbia, one of the largest in the region. Its main campus can be found in New Westminster. Disciplines offered at the college include Bachelor’s degrees, general university arts and science courses. The college is also well known for its excellent continuing education career programs in health care, human services, business, and the creative arts. Douglas is divided into six faculties including: Child, Family and Community Studies; Commerce and Business Administration; Health Sciences; Humanities and Social Sciences; Language; Literature and Performing Arts; and Science and Technology.
