About British Columbia

About Beautiful British Columbia

There is a reason why they call it Beautiful British Columbia. B.C., the Western most province in the country that borders on the Pacific Ocean, is far and away one of the most beautiful places to live in the country. Full of Mountain ranges, rivers, valleys, rainforest, modern cities, and islands on the coast, there is no question why more than 4 million Canadians call the province home.

If living in the capital of Victoria or international city Vancouver is not your forte, there are many regions where you can be at one with nature. There is no shortage of national parks and marine life to explore. Like most other regions in the country, there is a diverse array of cultural groups, but the provinces population is unique because of its high percentage of people of Asian and Native decent.

Another attractive feature about the province is the climate. British Columbia is the mildest area in Canada, with the temperature averaging about 6 Degrees in the winter and averaging in mid-20s during the summer. However, the mild weather does come with one caveat – expect rain to be a regular part of the forecast.
